Job summary

ITProposal is seeking an experienced Platform Architect (Azure) to join its Cloud Center of Excellence in Eindhoven. You will guide DevOps teams in secure, scalable cloud designs across Azure and Google Cloud, and promote automation, cost efficiency, and best practices.

You will lead architectural design for cloud-native and hybrid apps, while hands-on work with CI/CD and IaC, and contribute to AI initiatives to enhance operations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional IT experience.
• 5+ years as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Expert in Microsoft Azure; GCP experience is a plus.
• Hands-on with Azure IaaS (VMs, AKS, Networking, Storage).
• Designs PaaS solutions: Web Apps, Managed Databases, Kubernetes, Data Lake, Databricks.
• Strong Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tooling knowledge.
• Deep cloud data integration and modern data architectures.
• Agile engineering environments; change and risk management.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Platform Architect (Azure) to join the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE), an international team of 75+ cloud professionals. In this role, you will guide DevOps teams in designing secure, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions on Azure—and support cloud onboarding across both Azure and Google Cloud.

You will act as a consulting partner, technical leader, and cloud ambassador, helping teams accelerate their cloud journey while ensuring best practices, automation, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cloud onboarding across Azure and Google Cloud, covering both technology and process.
• Educate and guide DevOps teams in designing secure, scalable, ASML‑compliant cloud architectures.
• Act as a consulting partner to DevOps teams, removing roadblocks and enabling successful cloud adoption.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for DevOps teams and represent the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE).
• Promote cloud cost awareness and advise teams on optimization strategies.
• Test, validate, and develop new cloud technologies; be hands‑on when needed.
• Identify service gaps and collaborate with the CCoE product owner to improve customer experience.
• Design and review architectures for cloud‑native and hybrid applications.
• Support automation initiatives including CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC).
• Document solution designs and operational processes.
• Design, develop, and support AI solutions (e.g., copilot agents) to enhance CCoE and customer operations.

• 10+ years of professional experience, including 5+ years as a Cloud Solution Architect.
• Expert proficiency in Microsoft Azure (must‑have).
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a strong plus.
