Job summary

STAFIDE is seeking a Senior Cloud Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and data platforms on Google Cloud Platform. You will implement IaC with Terraform for production environments and monitor systems with Dynatrace while developing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

You will support JVM-based applications, ideally Apache Spark, ensuring high availability and performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure cloud solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building and maintaining complex systems.
• 4+ years building Data Platforms or cloud architectures on GCP.
• 3+ years implementing enterprise monitoring with Dynatrace.
• 3+ years deploying stateful workloads with Terraform in production.
• Expertise with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services including BigQuery, GCS, IAM, Cloud Run.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and data platforms, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Develop, manage, and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for production environments.
• Implement and maintain enterprise monitoring using Dynatrace to monitor data pipeline health, data quality, workload performance, and infrastructure reliability.
• Create, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and GitHub Workflows.
• Manage and support JVM-based applications, ideally Apache Spark, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Configure and administer GCP services including BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage (GCS), IAM, Cloud Run, and Networking.
• Automate deployment and operational tasks using Linux, Docker, and Bash scripting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 8+ years of overall experience building, scaling, and maintaining complex systems.
• 4+ years of experience building Data Platforms or complex Cloud Architectures, preferably on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• 3+ years of hands‑on experience implementing enterprise monitoring using Dynatrace.
• 3+ years of experience writing, refactoring, and managing stateful deployments using Terraform in production.
• Expertise in GitHub Actions, GitHub Workflows, and CI/CD automation.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services including BigQuery, GCS, IAM, Cloud Run, and Networking.
• Proficiency in Linux, Docker, and Bash scripting.
• Experience managing JVM applications, ideally Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with fundamental data engineering and data science concepts.
• Google Cloud Platform certifications are an added advantage.

• Design, automate, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code.
• Build and maintain secure, reliable, and efficient CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize application, infrastructure, and data pipeline performance using Dynatrace.
• Troubleshoot JVM applications, cloud infrastructure, and production environments effectively.
• Automate operational processes using Terraform, Docker, Linux, and Bash scripting.
• Optimize cloud resources for scalability, security, and performance.
• Collaborate effectively with engineering and data teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
