Job summary

Snowflake is looking for a Lead Migrations Forward Deployed Engineer to guide scoping, architecture, and direction as FDE teams embed with customers to modernize their data and application ecosystems on Snowflake AI Data Cloud.

You will partner with clients to design, build, and implement cutting-edge data solutions, ensuring value and success while mentoring teams and delivering robust migrations across complex environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/IS or related field.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, Java or C++.
• Experience delivering data-driven migrations.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Migration Project Execution: set architecture and direction for teams migrating customers.
• Software Development: contribute to prototypes and feature development in product roadmap.
• Client Collaboration and Enablement: provide guidance, mentorship, and training to client teams.
• Platform Implementation: design scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures on Snowflake.
• Performance Optimization & Best Practices: optimize models, queries, and processing for efficiency.
