Job summary

ANVA is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Data Platform team in the Netherlands. You will design robust data pipelines on Snowflake-based platforms, enable reporting and dashboards, and collaborate across data engineers, analysts, and DevOps to drive AI-first data solutions.

The role emphasizes SQL, ETL/ELT, and data modeling with a focus on scalable, multi-tenant SaaS architecture and BI contributions using Qlik.

Qualifications

BSc/HBO level education in a relevant field and thinking.
Extensive experience in Data Eng or BI Eng with strong SQL and ETL/ELT skills.
Hands-on Snowflake and Matillion experience required.
Affinity with Python and Agile/DevOps ways of working.
Nice to have SaaS, multi-tenant experience, Qlik or insurance domain.

Responsibilities

Design and build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, Snowpark Python, and Matillion.
Maintain and enhance data processes across the platform.
Contribute to ANVA 6 data foundation enabling reporting and dashboards.
Support BI through Qlik dashboards for ANVA 4/5 and ANVA 6.
Experiment with new technologies and propose practical solutions.
Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and DevOps specialists.
Own DevOps tasks like monitoring, automation, and performance tuning.
