Avantor Fluid Handling in Hillegom seeks a Transportation & Logistics Specialist to coordinate European logistics, manage carrier relationships, and optimize processes. The role focuses on inbound/outbound shipments, irradiation logistics, and documentation compliance.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field, 3+ years in transport/logistics, experience with TMS/WMS and ERP systems, and strong Dutch/English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• Minimum 3 years in transportation, logistics, or supply chain roles.
• Knowledge of transportation modes, logistics processes, and regulations (customs, import/export).
• Experience with logistics systems (TMS/WMS), ERP, and Excel.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent Dutch and English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation activities for European Single Use business based in Hillegom.
• Organize inbound, irradiation logistics, and outbound shipments of materials and finished goods.
• Manage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and providers.
• Monitor schedules, track deliveries, and resolve issues.
