Job summary

Jobgether, on behalf of a partner company, is seeking a Software Engineer to work on Kubernetes-focused products in the Netherlands. You will contribute to open-source solutions, build operators, and deliver low-ops experiences using Python and/or Golang.

This fully remote role involves collaborating with a distributed global team, staying current with Kubernetes developments, and occasionally traveling 2–4 weeks per year for team events.

Qualifications

• Professional software development experience with Golang or Python.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
• Strong engineering principles and maintainable code.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software features for Kubernetes-focused products.
• Build Kubernetes operators enabling lifecycle management for mission-critical components.
• Develop addons for seamless integration with low operational overhead.
• Write clean, tested code in Python and/or Golang.
• Collaborate with a globally distributed team and participate in design discussions.
• Contribute to engineering best practices and documentation.
• Travel internationally 2–4 weeks per year.
