Job summary

Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking a Koepelcafé Supervisor to lead the Koepelcafé team in Amsterdam. You will model superb hospitality, coach staff, and ensure every shift runs smoothly while delivering memorable guest experiences.

Located in the heart of Amsterdam, the hotel offers an opportunity to drive service excellence, coordinate daily operations, and contribute to a welcoming, high-standard dining environment within a vibrant team.

Qualifications

• A natural leader who enjoys motivating, coaching and developing a team.
• Fluent in English and preferably Dutch, with excellent communication skills.
• Available to work full-time across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience in hospitality, with supervisory experience in a restaurant, café or similar outlet considered an advantage.

The Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is looking for a Koepelcafé Supervisor!

How will you make an impact?

As the Supervisor of our Koepelcafé, you lead the team by example and ensure every shift runs smoothly. You create a welcoming atmosphere where both guests and ambassadors feel at home, while maintaining the highest standards of service, quality and hospitality.

With its iconic terrace in the heart of Amsterdam, Koepelcafé attracts both locals and visitors looking to enjoy lunch, drinks and bites throughout the day and into the evening. You coordinate daily operations, support and coach your team, and step in wherever needed to ensure every guest leaves with a memorable experience. Working closely with the leadership team, you help drive service excellence, operational efficiency and team engagement.

To thrive in this role, you are...

• A natural leader who enjoys motivating, coaching and developing a team.
• Passionate about hospitality and committed to creating memorable guest experiences.
• Fluent in English and preferably Dutch, with excellent communication skills.
• Calm under pressure, well-organised and able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experienced in hospitality, with previous supervisory experience in a restaurant, café or similar outlet being an advantage.
• Hands-on and proactive, always willing to support the team wherever needed.
• Available to work full-time across a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
