Job summary

Renaissance Amsterdam Hotel is seeking a Barista to craft exceptional coffee and tea beverages and create memorable guest moments at Amsterdam Central Station vicinity.

You will bring latte art skills, warm hospitality, and a passion for great service. This on-site role requires flexibility for mornings, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities to grow within our Beverage & Food team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Barista, proficient in making all types of coffee.
• Natural people-person who builds warm connections with guests and colleagues.
• Energetic and always looking for new ways to improve.
• Can communicate fluently in English.
• Any other language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality coffee and tea beverages with latte art and presentation.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment to ensure peak performance.
• Engage with guests, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our coffee program.
• Support Beverage & Food team and assist with orders and tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee station and assist with bar area upkeep.

Responsibilities

• As a Barista, you are the face of our coffee program and the creator of those first memorable moments of the day.
• With passion for great coffee, genuine hospitality and attention to detail, you craft drinks that go beyond taste - they tell a story.
• You bring warmth and energy to every interaction, ensuring guests feel welcome and inspired to return.
• Prepare high-quality coffee and tea beverages, showcasing advanced barista skills, including latte art and attention to presentation.
• Operate and maintain coffee equipment to ensure peak performance and quality standards.
• Engage with guests, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about our coffee & tea program and other offerings.
• Support Beverage & Food team assisting with orders or other tasks as needed and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized coffee station and assist with the general upkeep of the bar area.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new coffee-based drinks and enhance the beverage menu.
• Monitor stock levels of coffee, milk, and related supplies, placing orders when necessary.
• Follow all hygiene, safety, and company standards to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for guests and colleagues.
• Fulfil other reasonable job duties as instructed by the manager.

Requirements
