Job summary

The Social Hub in The Hague is looking for a Kitchen Porter to help keep our kitchen spotless, safe, and ready for action. You’ll wash dishes, support the team, and ensure every area stays clean as part of a friendly crew.

No prior experience is required; we’ll train you. You’ll work in a busy, hybrid hospitality environment with opportunities to learn and grow across our European properties.

Qualifications

• No experience needed, we’ll train you.
• Some experience in a cleaning or support role is a plus.
• Comfortable working in a busy, active environment on your feet.
• A team player mindset with a positive, flexible attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and a sense of pride in cleanliness.
• Reliable and hard-working behind the scenes.
• Clear communication skills – able to follow instructions and ask when in doubt.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away
