Job summary

The Social Hub in The Hague is hiring a Kitchen Porter to keep the kitchen spotless, safe and ready for action. You’ll wash dishes, keep floors clean and support the team with stock organization. No experience?

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or support roles is a plus.
• Comfortable on your feet in a busy environment.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Reliable and hardworking behind the scenes.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment quickly and thoroughly.
• Keep floors, surfaces, and bins clean following set routines.
• Make sure all kitchen areas, including storage and prep spaces, stay spotless.
• Help the kitchen team with basic tasks when needed – from unloading deliveries to organizing stock.
• Keep kitchen tools and equipment where they belong to support an efficient workflow.
• Follow hygiene and food safety rules like HACCP.
• Handle cleaning materials and gear safely and responsibly.
• Spot and report any issues or hazards right away.
