Job summary

Bayer Netherlands is seeking a Junior Scientific Advisor Cardiology to collaborate with the Cardiovascular Medicine Team and external experts in the Netherlands. You co-lead scientific projects, translate global strategies into local actions, and support clinical studies with cross-functional partners.

You will build relationships with key medical centers, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to evidence generation in ATTR-CM and related areas.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, etc.).
• At least 2 years of experience in pharma medical affairs or similar.
• Established relations with cardiovascular centers in the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Act as scientific partner with external customers and internal stakeholders to manage scientific projects.
• Collaborate to align scientific objectives with brand strategy under guidance of the medical advisor.
• Translate global medical/brand strategy into collaborations with key Dutch medical centers with support from Medical Advisor/MSL Cardiorenal.
• Provide scientific input into customer projects and multichannel campaigns with cross-functional partners.
• Build strategic partnerships by working with cross-functional teams.
• Support clinical trials by providing scientific input on interventional studies, RWE, and investigator-initiated research as needed locally.
• Review analytics and field insights to optimize medical content and evidence plans.
• Develop relationships with Thought Leaders and external stakeholder groups within Medical Affairs.
• Assist in organizing medical advisory boards and coordinating scientific education programs.
• Co-lead scientific projects in compliance with guidelines and regulations.
