Job summary

Sanofi is seeking a Field Based Medical Advisor for Dermatology in the Netherlands. This full-time role involves field-based activities with travel within the country and occasionally across the region.

You will build scientific partnerships, develop stakeholder engagement plans, and communicate clinical value to decision makers while ensuring regulatory and internal compliance. You should have medical orPhD credentials with experience in dermatology or immunology, strong Dutch and English

Qualifications

• MD, PharmD, PhD or MSc
• Experience as Medical Advisor or Medical Science Liaison in a field-based role
• Dermatology experience preferred; immunology experience required
• Data gathering and study experience; market access/HTA dossier know-how
• Knowledge of the Netherlands market access framework
• Strong communication skills to engage multiple stakeholders

Medical Advisors (FBM) build and develop enduring ‘win-win' relationships with healthcare professionals and institutions, creating constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to disseminate scientific information and generate insights. They develop and execute the medical and scientific (non-promotional) strategy for dermatology (focus PN/CSU, but also including cross-Derm & AD) in the Netherlands fully aligned with the MCO medical and cross functional strategy. Medical Advisors are a trusted source of scientific and medical information for the Netherlands.

Main responsibilities:

• Develops and maintains trusted partnerships, through scientific engagement and exchange, with healthcare professionals and institutions in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment
• Develops and executes the individual stakeholder engagement plans, aligned with the Medical Plan
• Communicates the clinical value of the TA products to population-health/formulary decision makers (as applicable)
• Provides high-quality, accurate, balanced and directed information to key customers and stakeholders in response to unsolicited requests for information, supports investigators in IIR submissions, management of local advisory boards
• Generates high-value, actionable insights and proposes solutions
• Lead local advisory boards, scientific projects and other relevant activities. Conduct medical trainings adapted to internal as well as external needs
• Contributes to/manages evidence-generation activities, supporting both internal evidence-generation projects and IISs
• Contributes to the development of market access dossiers and provides the medical specific input to the dossier
• Drive strong collaborative relationships with commercial and cross-functional teams, including marketing, market access, health economics, regulatory and clinical, while maintaining full compliance with company, industry, legal and regulatory requirements
• Internal governance and strategy: Overseeing the approval of medical and marketing materials, and contributing to the development of country medical strategy

About you

Education:

• MD, Pharmacist/PharmD, PhD or Master of Science degree

Experience:

• Prior experience in a Medical Advisor or Medical Science Liaison field based role
• Prior experience connected to Dermatology is preferred whilst experience connected to immunology is required
• Data gathering/study related experience, experience with market access/HTA dossiers
• Knowledge of country market access framework
• Effective in using multiple channels and formats for scientific engagement to maximize stakeholders’ satisfaction and impact
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships

Languages:

• Excellent Dutch and English, written and spoken
