Job summary

ASICS EMEA in Hoofddorp is seeking a skilled individual to manage the complete product lifecycle for Core Performance Sports footwear across handball, volleyball, netball, and field hockey. The role entails collaborating with sales and marketing teams to ensure products reach the right audiences and require excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role (Product specialist, Merchandiser, Buyer).

Responsibilities

• Ensure data accuracy for the footwear product lines across categories.
• Determine seasonal range plans including product introduction dates and pricing strategies.
• Prepare comprehensive product data and conduct performance analyses.
• Develop and implement go-to-market plans for assigned products.
• Create go-to-market presentations and support Sales teams.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop product narratives.
• Represent ASICS at product launches.

Job description

At ASICS, you'll contribute to the mission of managing and developing the go-to-market strategy for Core Performance Sports footwear lines across handball, volleyball, netball, and field hockey.

Your role in our shared journey

Located at the EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll manage the complete product lifecycle—from seasonal planning and pricing to launch execution—ensuring indoor sports products reach the right audiences through compelling narratives and strategic collaboration with sales and merchandising teams. In this role, you'll bridge the gap between the European market and Japan head office.

Your role will be instrumental in bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Ensure data accuracy for the footwear product lines across handball, volleyball, netball, and field hockey categories.
• Determine seasonal range plans including product introduction dates, pricing strategies, and color options for the assigned sports categories.
• Prepare comprehensive product data and conduct detailed performance analyses to support informed decision‑making.
• Develop and implement go‑to‑market plans for assigned products across Wholesale and Direct‑to‑Consumer channels.
• Create go‑to‑market presentations and support Merchandising and Sales teams during pre‑line meetings with key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling product narratives and act as the primary liaison between the European market and Japan head office.
• Represent ASICS at product launches and key industry events to strengthen brand presence and stakeholder relationships.

You have the following skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong interest in sports.
