Job summary

ASICS EMEA seeks a Visual Merchandising Coordinator at our Hoofddorp HQ near Amsterdam. You will coordinate visual merchandising for store openings, relocations and refurbishments, managing timelines, artwork, production, and supplier partnerships across the EMEA region.

You’ll support store openings with installation readiness, provide guidance to store teams, and maintain brand standards while driving innovative presentation across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Experience in visual merchandising or store project coordination.
• Ability to review layouts and artwork with attention to detail.
• Proven track record coordinating suppliers, deliveries and installations.
• Strong organisational skills, including file management and version control.
• Excellent communication and collaborative problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Monitor project timelines, schedules and opening checklists while flagging delays and risks.
• Review layouts, fixture drawings and artwork against specs; log discrepancies.
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery and installation with external agencies and Store Design team.
• Guide store teams on visual merchandising layouts and opening setup procedures.
• Compile project documentation including photos, snag lists and handover packs.
• Manage fixture procurement, signage production and window display elements across EMEA.
• Ensure brand standards and visual guidelines are applied in existing stores.

Your role in our shared journey

Located at our EMEA headquarters in Hoofddorp, near Amsterdam, you'll contribute to our mission by coordinating visual merchandising excellence across store openings, relocations, and refits throughout the EMEA region. You'll support the execution of store openings, relocations and refurbishments by managing project timelines, artwork and production coordination, supplier partnerships and installation readiness, helping ensure every store consistently delivers an elevated brand and consumer experience.

Your role will be instrumental in weaving the fabric of our movement, bringing unique perspectives and driving innovation with every step.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Monitor visual merchandising project timelines, schedules, and opening checklists whilst tracking dependencies and flagging any delays, cost variations, or risks to stakeholders.
• Review technical layouts, fixture drawings, and artwork materials against approved specifications, logging discrepancies and managing file revisions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate fabrication, delivery schedules, and installation activities with external agencies and the Store Design team, ensuring orders, costs, and site readiness are tracked effectively.
• Provide guidance and support to store teams on visual merchandising layouts, product presentation standards, and opening setup procedures in collaboration with Retail Operations.
• Compile comprehensive project documentation including photographs, snag lists, asset records, and handover packs for completed store openings and refits.
• Manage fixture procurement, signage production, and window display elements to ensure timely delivery and installation across EMEA store locations.
• Maintain oversight of product presentation improvements for existing stores, ensuring consistency with brand standards and visual merchandising guidelines.

You Have The Following Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in Visual Merchandising, retail project coordination, or a similar role supporting store environments.
• Relevant qualification in Visual Merchandising, Design, Retail or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience reviewing layouts, drawings and artwork, with a strong eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to coordinate suppliers, production activities, deliveries and installations across multiple projects.
• Strong organisational skills, including project tracking, file management, version control and proficiency with spreadsheets.
• Effective communicator and collaborative problem solver.
