Job summary

Ballast Nedam Wind & Marine seeks a Junior Project Engineer Wind to support our tender team from Utrecht and later assist on offshore wind projects abroad. You will work with experienced engineers to develop buildable, competitive wind offers and support execution after award.

You should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field, have up to 3 years of experience (internships count), and demonstrate strong analytical, planning, and numerical skills.

Qualifications

• Degree required: bachelor’s or master’s in relevant field.
• 0–3 years of experience; internship or graduation project in offshore wind is a plus.
• Analytical mindset and a feel for planning and numbers.
• Willingness to work abroad for longer periods when tender is won.
• Proficient in English and Dutch.

Responsibilities

• Sketch the installation sequence for offshore foundations and plan weather windows.
• Build tender plannings with durations and weather constraints.
• Provide technical input for cost estimates of vessels, equipment, materials, and manpower.
• Request and compare quotes and technical information from suppliers.
• Identify technical risks and opportunities and propose alternatives.
• Prepare clear technical documents and tender deliverables.
• Support engineering during execution after award, abroad.
