Job summary

Ballast Nedam Wind & Marine seeks a Project Engineer to drive engineering for four international marine projects, from tender through execution. You will turn concepts into practical solutions while balancing scope, cost and quality across Caribbean and European sites.

You will coach junior engineers and coordinate with designers, suppliers and clients to manage risks and ensure safety and excellence. The role offers international exposure, rotation opportunities, and a dynamic team environment

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Maritime or Offshore Engineering.
5–10 years of experience as a Project Engineer in offshore wind, offshore O&G or marine projects.
Experience with foundation installation, marine operations and heavy lift operations (preferred).
Affinity with both tender and execution phases.
Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to work on rotation in the Caribbean and Germany.

Responsibilities

Turn concepts and designs into practical engineering solutions.
Balance planning, cost and quality across four projects in varying conditions.
Coach and support junior project engineers and share knowledge.
Coordinate technical interfaces with designers, suppliers, subcontractors, partners and clients.
Identify and mitigate technical risks such as wave loads, tides, soil conditions and marine operations.
