2Sea B.V. is seeking a Junior Engineer to join our small, tight-knit team near Rotterdam. You will work on offshore wind and maritime projects, focusing on the structural design of installation aids and temporary structures, integrating theory with hands-on practice from day one.

As a Graduate/Junior, you will analyse vessel motions, perform load calculations, and contribute to technical reports while developing a broad understanding of the field within a supportive, mentoring environment.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of structural mechanics / strength of materials.
• Affinity with naval architecture, offshore or maritime engineering.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to structure complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design calculations for transport frames, seafastenings and temporary structures and lifting operations.
• Analyse vessel motions and translate into structural loads.
• Prepare and review technical documentation and engineering reports.
• Contribute to stability and hydrostatic calculations for marine operations.
• Support offshore installation methods planning and execution.
• Collaborate with colleagues, clients, Marine Warranty Surveyors, and Classification societies.
• Contribute to process improvement and innovation.
