Job summary

Iv-Groep b.v. seeks a Junior Structural Engineer to work on steel and concrete structures, including offshore platforms, bridges and industrial plants. You will perform calculations for strength, stability and fatigue and develop designs from concept to detail in multidisciplinary project teams.

You will learn software such as Ansys, explore 3D development, and gradually take on coordination responsibilities within Iv’s collaborative, hands-on engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Higher professional education or university degree in Civil Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Interest in maritime, offshore, buildings, or infrastructure projects
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous
• Good command of the Dutch language

Responsibilities

• Perform calculations on strength, stability and fatigue
• Develop designs from concept to detail and test against standards
• Coordinate with mechanical, electrical and systems engineers to ensure compatibility within the overall design
• Work in multidisciplinary project teams on large, complex projects
