Job summary

3devo B.V. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to strengthen our R&D team in the Utrecht area. You will define technical specifications, design mechanical concepts, and contribute to making our filament extrusion and recycling technologies more robust and up to date.

You’ll work in a small, multidisciplinary team, collaborate with production for practical assembly, and test prototypes. Experience with 3D CAD (Onshape preferred) and a hands-on, structured approach are essential, along with

Qualifications

Completed HBO/Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Several years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a technical/industrial setting.
Fluency in English (Dutch is a plus).

Responsibilities

Take the lead in defining technical specifications.
Design mechanical concepts and systems.
Contribute to the quality and completeness of functional specifications.
Identify and select suitable suppliers for required components.
Document design decisions and processes.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and practical assembly of end products.
Experience with 3D CAD software (Onshape is a plus).
Assemble and test your own prototypes.
