Job summary

3devo B.V. is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D team in the Utrecht area. You will lead specifications, design mechanical concepts, select components, and document decisions while collaborating with production to ensure practical assembly.

Experience with 3D CAD (Onshape preferred) and a hands-on, detail-focused approach are essential. You should hold an HBO/Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, have several years of relevant experience, and be fluent in English (Dutch a

• Higher professional degree (HBO/Bachelor's) in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in a technical or industrial setting.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Willing to work on-site within travel distance of Utrecht.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in defining technical specifications
• Design mechanical concepts and systems
• Contribute to quality and completeness of functional specifications
• Identify and select suitable suppliers for components
• Document design decisions and processes
• Collaborate with production for efficient assembly
