Job summary

Mpac Langen seeks a Junior Software Engineer to develop, test and optimize the control systems of packaging machines. Join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to high-speed motion applications, both for new machines and existing concepts.

You will be involved in commissioning at customer sites, remotely and on-site, with national and international travel up to 30%. You will work on Allen Bradley PLCs and Lenze IPCs with motion, participate in design decisions, and help improve software

Qualifications

Completed HBO/BA in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or Industrial Automation.
3+ years of experience in machine building or industrial automation.
Experience with PLCs, IPCs, motion control and servomotors.
Affinity with commissioning and international start-ups.
Good command of Dutch and English.
Willingness to travel internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

Designing, developing, and optimizing PLC and motion control software for high-speed packaging machines.
Implementing and configuring Mpac HMI solutions.
Testing software during workshop testing phases.
Performing IO tests and functional tests, supporting FAT.
Supporting commissioning and start-up at customer sites, remotely and on-site.
Analyzing technical issues and translating them into practical software solutions.
Contributing to standardization and improvement of software libraries.
Identifying improvement opportunities in performance and reliability.
