Job summary

Mpac Langen in Wijchen, Netherlands, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to join the Service Engineering team. You will develop and improve mechanical designs for high-performance automated machinery, translate requirements into practical solutions and work closely with Operations, Service and Sales.

The role involves designing machines and components, creating CAD models and drawings, performing mechanical calculations, and supporting FAT/SAT activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level mechanical engineering or related field required.
• Experience in machine building, automation or related environments.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing techniques and DFMA.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve mechanical designs for machinery and equipment.
• Create 3D CAD models, drawings and BOMs.
• Perform static and dynamic calculations and select components.
• Support upgrades, revisions and customer-specific modifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Service, Operations and Sales.
