Job summary

Jobster in Hilversum, Netherlands is seeking a Junior Flavorist Assistant to support flavor formula development and lab operations. You will manage raw materials, record data, and contribute to accurate analyses as part of a collaborative flavor team.

The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, located on-site in Hilversum, with a focus on precision and teamwork within an international organization. This is a maternity cover temporary position with placement for growth.

Qualifications

• MBO degree in lab tech or related field is a plus.
• Experience in a laboratory setting is preferred.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in flavor creation and willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and blend liquid and/or powdered raw materials to create flavor formulas.
• Record data accurately for the composed formulas.
• Manage raw materials inventory and system changes.
• Perform basic analyses using calibration equipment and ensure accurate results.
• Support lab organization and tastings to enable efficient workflows.
