Job summary

SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions in Eindhoven, NL, is seeking a Junior Financial Accountant to join our growing finance team. You’ll handle day-to-day accounting, assist in month-end close and reporting, and help improve processes in a fast-paced, international high-tech environment.

With a bachelor's in accounting or related field and 1–3 years of experience, you’ll work closely with our Financial Controller, gain hands-on ERP exposure, and influence automation and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of accounting or financial administration experience.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial software.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day financial administration including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank transactions, and payroll inputs.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing including journal entries, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist VAT filings, internal controls, audit requirements and other financial compliance activities.
• Help optimise ERP and finance systems and drive process improvements.

Your expertise and qualities A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Economics or a related field; Approximately 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial administration; A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and internal controls; Experience working with ERP systems or financial accounting software; Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data; Accurate, detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work; A proactive, hands-on mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability; Well-organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities; Analytical and solution-oriented, with an eye for improving existing processes; Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop; What do we offer?
