Job summary

Picnic is seeking an early-career digital marketer to grow our website and organic search channels. You’ll join an international team, learning to drive organic growth, content strategy, and website optimization while gaining hands-on experience in digital analytics.

The role focuses on understanding how people find and choose Picnic online, with opportunities to work across content creation, SEO, and performance metrics in a fast-paced e-commerce environment.

Qualifications

• MSc in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent.
• Up to 1 year of hands-on digital marketing experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French or German is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with data and performance metrics.
• Proficient with Google Sheets, Excel or other data tools.

Responsibilities

• Research how customers discover brands online and identify opportunities for Picnic to reach them with useful and relevant content.
• Help increase Picnic’s visibility across Google search and AI search.
• Work with developers, designers and copywriters to implement improvements to our website.
• Help optimize existing pages and develop new content that is useful for our customers.
• Use tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Semrush to measure results and identify opportunities.
• Come up with ideas, test them, analyze results, and apply learnings to improve the next iteration.

Your superpowers

• MSc. degree in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent
• Up to 1 year of hands-on digital marketing experience
• Fluent in Dutch and English. French or German is a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with an interest in working with data and performance metrics.
• Proficient in using Google Sheets, Excel or any other data tool to analyze and present insights
• Passionate about using AI to automate, simplify, and improve everyday marketing tasks
• Eager to learn and develop your digital marketing expertise
