Overview

VTTI is looking for a Junior Commercial Associate to join our global Commercial team in Rotterdam. This is an entry-level position offering hands-on exposure to global commercial operations in the energy sector. You’ll support the VP Commercial and team with analysis, reporting, CRM management, and preparing presentations for internal and customer-facing decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational and analytical support to the commercial team.
• Take ownership of CRM tasks (e.g., onboarding new customers, ensuring data quality).
• Prepare presentations and reports for management and stakeholders.
• Support market and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with finance, customer service, and IT teams on commercial initiatives.

What you bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Legal or related field.
• Experience in customer service and tank storage is a plus; if you don’t have it, we will teach you.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI; curiosity to use AI tools.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn in a dynamic environment.
• A collaborative, proactive team player who thrives in a fast-paced sector.
