Commercial Manager – ETT (Europoort Rotterdam) Full‑time | Member of the ETT Management Team

ETT (Eurotank Terminal), part of VTTI, is a state‑of‑the‑art terminal located in the Port of Rotterdam. With over 1.4 million m³ of storage capacity, 42 tanks handling fuel oil, biofuels, ethanol, methanol and SAF, and a deep‑water jetty capable of berthing large vessels, ETT plays a crucial role in Europe’s energy and biofuels value chain. Your Role as Commercial Manager (ETT)

As Commercial Manager, you hold full commercial responsibility for the ETT terminal, including the P&L. You are a key member of the management team of VTTI NL, working closely with the SVP VTTI NL and reporting functionally to the SVP Commercial. You lead commercial strategy, drive sustainable terminal occupancy, cultivate senior‑level customer relationships, and contribute directly to VTTI’s broader strategic agenda — including new energy developments and future‑proofing the business. You will also lead the Customer Service & Customs team and collaborate closely with Operations, QHSSE and Finance to ensure strong performance and customer excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the P&L performance and commercial growth of the ETT terminal
• Develop and execute the commercial strategy aligned with VTTI’s long‑term ambitions
• Acquire, develop and manage senior customer relationships across Europe and beyond
• Negotiate commercial contracts and develop long‑term partnerships
• Identify new opportunities in biofuels, SAF, methanol and energy transition markets
• Lead and develop the Customer Service & Customs team
• Work closely with Operations and other functions to deliver high‑quality service
• Monitor market trends and translate them into commercial propositionsContribute to investment cases, terminal upgrades and capacity development
• Represent ETT internally within the global VTTI network and externally with partners

What You Bring

• A strong track record of commercial success in the European downstream oil or energy sector
• Experience innovating or disrupting within your field
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to operate autonomously and build senior‑level relationships
• Strong analytical capabilities and financial understanding
• Interest in new energy developments and market transitions
• Fluency in English (Dutch strongly preferred)
• Collegial, adaptive, self‑starting and focused on long‑term value creation
