About the Role:

As part of a cross-functional team, you’ll be designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems used by thousands of users every day. You’ll have real ownership over your work and the freedom to bring your ideas to life in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

• Tools: IntelliJ, JIRA, Confluence, Maven/Gradle
• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, REST-assured

This is a full-time permanent role based in Amsterdam. Candidates must reside in Amsterdam or the immediate surroundings and be fluent in Dutch (C1 level or higher).

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Java (preferably Java 11+)
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot and microservices architecture
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
• Fluent in Dutch (spoken and written)
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
• Frontend experience (e.g., React or Angular)
• Experience working in fintech, e-commerce, or SaaS environments
