We are a Dutch recruitment agency based in Hilversum and we are preferred suppliers directly to the big Banking organisations here in the Netherlands.

For one of our top Banking client based in Amsterdam we are looking for a Senior Front end Engineer with experience in the Banking sector.

36- 40 hours

2 - 3 year project

The project:

The area is responsible for the global data store that supports the different business applications lines by providing a global solution to manage the data of customers and businesses.

Currently, we are a team of 3 full-stack engineers, 2 operations engineers, 1 product owner. We are part of the Global Customer Data Management tribe and are responsible for developing and maintaining the GRDM platform. We are responsible for the entire platform, so we are typically a full-stack team. However, since we are replacing each and every screen of GRDM we are looking to strengthen our team with some front-end expertise.

Skillset needed:

10+ years’ experience in development/software engineering and working within agile organisations.
Understanding / Experience with class based components (e.a. React Class Components or LIT).
Help design API schema's with front-end performance in mind.
Are thoughtful of the processes, standards and coding practices already in place, and are very precise and analytical about implementing them.
Experience with frontend build tooling e.g., Webpack and Rollup.
Experience with CI/CD tooling, preferably Azure DevOps.
Deployments to CDN, NFM Feeds, release procedures, risk evaluation and security.
Desirable Design Patterns: Single Page Applications, Server-Side Rendering / Static Site Generation.
Well versed with TDD, BDD, and testing tools such as Mocha, Chai, Selenium, Karma, etc.
Strong technical communication skills and keen to engage with stake-holders, due to the nature of our team this is vital.

One technical interview (60 min Teams chat) and one softs skills (20 mins)
