Job summary

KRUSH Labs in Eindhoven is seeking a proactive IT Support Engineer to handle day-to-day IT operations, ticket management, and user support in a fast-paced startup. You will configure and maintain laptops, workstations, and peripherals, assist with onboarding and offboarding, and collaborate with developers and researchers to align IT with project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows Server and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main IT support contact and manage hardware, software, and network tickets.
• Configure, deploy, and maintain laptops, workstations, and peripherals; onboarding/offboarding support.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across systems and connectivity; escalate complex problems.
• Manage user accounts and access to internal systems and tools.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency.
• Maintain IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and SOPs.
• Collaborate with developers, researchers, and cross-functional teams to align IT systems with project goals.

Our company is developing a cutting-edge wireless communication system to connect multiple portable devices. We are seeking a proactive and hands-on IT Support Engineer to support day-to-day IT operations and provide high-quality technical assistance to employees. This role is primarily focused on user support, ticket management, and maintaining stable IT systems, while working alongside senior team members on more advanced infrastructure tasks when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the main point of contact for IT support requests; manage and resolve tickets related to hardware, software, and network issuesin a timely manner.
• Configure, deploy, andmaintainlaptops, workstations, and peripherals, including onboarding and offboarding support.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across systems, applications, and connectivity; escape more complex issues when necessary.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to internal systems and tools.
• Automation and Optimization: Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline repetitive tasks and enhance operational efficiency.
• Maintainand improve IT documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, researchers, and cross-functional teamstoensureIT systems align with business goals and project needs.

Technical Qualifications Required

• Expertisein Windows Server and Linux-based environments.
• Expertiseincloud (Azure, AWS) or hybrid (cloud-on-premises) infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, or Docker).
• Strong understanding of network protocols and services (TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, DNS, DHCP,firewalls, etc.).
• Proficiencywith logging and monitoring tools such (Zabbix, Prometheus,Graylogetc.)is nice to have.
• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell for automation tasks.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
