Job summary

Swisscom is looking for an IT intern to join an international team in Rotterdam, contributing to a digital transformation. You will work on backend, cloud, or full‑stack development and apply your CS skills in real projects.

The 6‑month program starts on 1 February 2027. You will collaborate across Switzerland, Rotterdam, and Riga in agile teams, gaining hands‑on experience while learning Scrum and SAFe. NUFFIC Agreement required for non‑EU students.

Qualifications

• Student in final year of HBO or University in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must live in the Netherlands and be willing to join an international team.
• Good level of English; other languages are a plus.
• NUFFIC Agreement is required for non-EU students to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Work on real projects with Swisscom’s intern team across multiple locations.
• Contribute to an agile transformation journey and cloud/on‑prem development contexts.
• Gain hands‑on experience in backend, cloud, or full‑stack development.

About the Internship Project:

Application transformation journey to MDP on iAWS, On Prem and beyond

The application transformation goal is to enable the Swisscom application team in its transformation of their application to have a fully secured, cloud native application running on the curated for Swisscom AWS infrastructure (iAWS) or On Prem on iKube2.

Who are you?

• You are a student enrolled in the last year of your HBO or University program in the field of Computer Science, Informatica, or any other similar field.

• You live in the Netherlands.

• You are willing to contribute to an international team and you have an agile mindset.

• You are curious and responsible.

• You have a good level of English; any other language is a plus.

  
  Please note that for non-EU students, it is necessary to provide the NUFFIC Agreement for the 6-month internship from your university in order to be eligible.
