Job summary

Swisscom offers an IT Internship in Cloud‑Native Platform Engineering & Developer Experience (AnyOrg). You will join an international team across Rotterdam, Riga, and Switzerland to work on cloud-native services, platform automation, and developer tooling.

The 6‑month program starts February 2027 in an agile environment with Scrum/SAFe, and requires a final-year CS student in the Netherlands with English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Student in final year HBO or University in Computer Science, Informatica, or related field.
• Must live in the Netherlands.
• Willing to contribute to an international team with an agile mindset.
• Good level of English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work on cloud-native front-/back-end services and developer tooling.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and platform automation.
• Collaborate in agile teams (Scrum/SAFe) on Swisscom projects.
• Support security integrations and DevOps practices.

About The Internship Project

Cloud‑Native Platform Engineering & Developer Experience (AnyOrg)

Join a team building enterprise platform services used by engineers across Swisscom. You will work on cloud‑native Front/backed services, platform automation, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling and security integrations. The project offers hands‑on experience with modern software engineering practices, DevOps, GitLab pipelines and cloud technologies while collaborating with experienced engineers in an international Agile environment.

Who are you?

• You are a student enrolled in the last year of your HBO or University program in the field of Computer Science, Informatica, or any other similar field.


• You live in the Netherlands.


• You are willing to contribute to an international team and you have an agile mindset.


• You are curious and responsible.


• You have a good level of English; any other language is a plus.

Please note that for non-EU students, it is necessary to provide the NUFFIC Agreement for the 6-month internship from your university in order to be eligible.
