Job summary

Fiducial is seeking an IT Infrastructure & Security Engineer in Delft, the Netherlands, to ensure secure, reliable ICT for a defence-adjacent startup. You will own IT operations, security policy, and deployment pipelines across cloud, on-premises, and edge environments, enabling fast, safe software delivery to field deployments.

You will work with Linux-based systems, Docker/containers, and scripting (Python, Bash), with exposure to Kubernetes and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Broad IT ops, security and infrastructure ownership.
• Strong Linux, containers, and scripting foundation.
• Attention to security, access control, and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• General IT operations: devices, accounts, onboarding/offboarding, licenses.
• Security ownership: policies, access controls, risk assessments across cloud and on‑premise.
• Infra & deployment: CI/CD pipelines and hybrid cloud/edge infra.
• Monitoring: logging, monitoring and alerting setup.
• Network and on‑premise administration: secure connectivity between office, cloud, and field deployments.
