Job summary

FareHarbor is seeking an experienced Application Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team in Amsterdam. You will focus on securing our SDLC, reviewing applications, and enhancing CI/CD security controls while supporting broader security initiatives.

The role requires collaboration across product, platform, and security teams, with responsibilities spanning threat modeling, vulnerability remediation, and security monitoring enhancements.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in application security and secure SDLC practices.
• Experience with reviews, threat modeling, and remediation of security findings.
• Proficient in security controls in CI/CD pipelines and cloud security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product, platform and security teams to embed security in SDLC.
• Perform application security reviews, threat modeling and design reviews for features.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in apps, APIs, services and pipelines.
• Support remediation from pentest findings, bug bounty, and scans with evidence.
• Guide secure coding practices, architecture, authentication and API security.
• Assist in IAM, WAF, logging and security monitoring improvements.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response when needed.
