Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Leiden is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to support startup IT infrastructure for the Cell Therapy Facility. You will collaborate with IT and business partners across the international organization and ensure reliable 24/7 operation of manufacturing systems.

The role requires strong communication, hands-on hardware and network skills, ServiceNow/CMDB knowledge, and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced life sciences environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Infrastructure Engineer.
• Knowledge of process automation systems is beneficial.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and flexibility to changing business needs.
• Ability to meet deadlines and a commitment to self-development.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Experience installing and maintaining hardware like label printers, scanners, and IT peripherals.
• Knowledge of desktop installation and support.
• Basic knowledge of servers, data center, firewalls, network.
• Basic knowledge of lab systems.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow, CMDB.

Responsibilities

• IT infrastructure troubleshooting including Network, Servers, HMIs, Printers, Scanners, Switches, Firewall rules, Domains, etc.
• Responsible for the IT Life Cycle Management (LCM) program as well as the roadmap for all the above listed IT Infrastructure.
• Be the CTF IT Cybersecurity Point Of Contact (POC) and own the system patching effort for various local IT systems.
• Monitor, track and reduce ServiceNow tickets related to IT Shared Services.
• Manage spares and inventory for IT Infrastructure.
• Accountable for uninterrupted 24/7 operation of manufacturing systems for CAR-T manufacturing.
• Responsible for creating SOP, WI and qualification of the equipment’s and the documentation.
• Responsible to manage the shared computers in the Clean Room Area.
