Job summary

Deloitte Netherlands is seeking a proactive IT Contract Manager to own the full lifecycle of IT supplier contracts, including SaaS, cloud and managed services. You will manage MSAs, SOWs, SLAs and licensing agreements, coordinate RFPs and perform cost analyses to support budget forecasting and commercial decisions.

You will monitor contract performance, drive renewals, align with Legal and Global Procurement, and manage a portfolio of 100–120 contracts representing €30–35 million in annual spend.

Qualifications

• HBO/Bachelor or equivalent by experience.
• Advanced stakeholder management and bilingual communication (Dutch/English).
• 5+ years in IT contract management or procurement.
• Financial skills to interpret reports and budgets; translate into decisions.
• Read basic contract texts; GDPR/privacy awareness; engage Legal/Procurement.
• Procurement process knowledge including RFI/RFP/RFQ.

Responsibilities

• Register and maintain IT contracts with metadata, financial terms and change-log.
• Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, licensing, DPA, and partner agreements.
• Participate in RFPs and end-to-end contract lifecycle management.
• Prepare weighted scorings for supplier selection and awarding.
• Perform TCO and cost-benefit analyses for targets and budgets.
• Assess contracts for terms, exit clauses, indexation and SLAs.
• Review contracts for legal/privacy/IP risks; escalate to Legal with risk assessment.
• Prepare artefacts for audits and support GDPR/security audits.
• Define and report supplier KPIs and SLAs; drive performance reviews.
• Monitor milestones and coordinate renewals/terminations.
• Match POs/invoices to contract terms; resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain contract tooling and CMDB/license management integrations.

Job description

Join us as a proactive IT Contract Manager responsible for the full lifecycle of IT supplier contracts (SaaS, cloud, software licenses and managed services). You maintain supplier relationships, and directly contribute to more efficient, cost-effective IT services at Deloitte

• Register and maintain all IT contracts in the contract management database with full metadata, financial terms and change-log.
• You will manage and negotiate MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, licensing agreements, DPA/Data Processing Agreements, reseller and partner agreements, and change/order forms.
• Participate in RFP, evaluate and coordinate end-to-end contract lifecycle management
• Prepare and present scorings using a weighted evaluation matrix for supplier selection and awarding.
• Perform TCO and cost-benefit analyses to define negotiation targets and budget forecasts.
• Assess contracts for acceptable conditions regarding term, exit clauses, indexation and SLAs.
• Review contracts for legal, privacy and IP risks; elevate complex clauses to Legal with a documented risk assessment.
• You will prepare contract artefacts for internal and external audits and support GDPR/data protection and security audit requests.
• Define, monitor and report supplier KPIs and SLAs; run vendor performance reviews and agree on improvement plans.
• Monitor alerts and workflows for key milestones (expiry, renewal, notice periods) and coordinate timely renewals or terminations.
• Match POs/invoices against contract terms and elevate billing discrepancies.
• Maintain and optimize contract tooling and integrations with the CMDB and License management.

• Education: HBO/Bachelor or equivalent by experience. Preferred certifications: Contract Management, NEVI/CIPS, CPCM, IACCM or ITIL.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT contract management or procurement.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills in Dutch and English (written and spoken).
• Practical financial skills, with the ability to interpret financial reports, manage budgets, analyze costs, and translate financial insights into commercial and contractual decisions.
• Able to read and understand basic contract/legal texts; understands GDPR/privacy and commercial clauses; knows when to engage experts from Legal and Procurement.
• Knowledge of Procurement Processes including RFI/RFP/RFQ design, supplier evaluation and award justification.
• Strong negotiation skills with experience closing commercial and SLA terms with suppliers.
• Experience with cloud contracts (Azure/AWS/GCP), SaaS licensing models, subscription and consumption pricing, and software asset management (SAM).
• Hands-on experience with CLM tools and integrations (e.g. ServiceNow/CMDB, license management systems) including metadata governance and automated alerts.
• Experience with contract changes, supplier transitions and outsourcing/managed services transitions is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of license management / SAM processes is a plus.
• Proficient with advanced Excel, SharePoint, ServiceNow and contract management tooling: modern reporting tools is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to prioritize multiple contracts and deadlines under pressure.

As part of the IT Office, you shape the IT contracting strategy and multi-year supplier roadmap. Through strategic negotiations, TCO insights and trusted contract data, you improve efficiency and enable faster, well-informed decisions. You strengthen service reliability and manage risk by steering suppliers and securing effective SLAs in close collaboration with IT and Global Procurement. You manage a portfolio of approximately 100-120 contracts, representing €30-35 million in annual spend, including strategic suppliers and high-volume SaaS agreements. Reporting to the Head of IT Office / IT Finance Manager, you act as the primary contracting contact for IT and Global Procurement.
