Job summary

BYD Europe BV located in Hoofddorp, Netherlands, is seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to bridge business needs with technology across CRM, ERP, and logistics systems.

The role requires 3–7 years of experience, strong SQL skills, and proficiency with Power BI/Tableau/Looker. You will collaborate with Product and Engineering teams, lead UAT, and drive process improvements in a fast‑growing automotive tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
• Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, WMS, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with impact assessment.
• Proficiency in SQL and database query tools.
• Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).
• Familiarity with APIs, data models, and enterprise architectures; Python scripting a plus.
• Fluent in English and local market language; Chinese language is an advantage.

Job qualification

• 1. Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and operational requirements within the assigned domain.


• 2. Gather, analyze, document, and manage business and functional requirements, ensuring alignment between business needs and system capabilities.


• 3. Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineering teams, and business stakeholders to design and implement effective technology solutions.


• 4. Validate proposed solutions and ensure they meet business requirements, operational needs, and user expectations.


• 5. Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), coordinate business validation activities, and support successful solution deployment.


• 6. Analyze business and operational data to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for process improvement and automation.


• 7. Develop and maintain business process documentation, system operation manuals, training materials, and user guides.


• 8. Provide functional support, user training, and ongoing system administration for business-critical applications.


• 9. Manage and support key business systems including CRM, Digital Marketing Platforms, Dealer Systems, API integrations, and related business applications.

Your profile

• 1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.


• 2. 3–7 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.


• 3. Strong understanding of CRM, ERP, WMS, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics or related business systems. Experience in the automotive industry is preferred.


• 4. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.


• 5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business impacts, evaluate solutions, and drive continuous improvement.


• 6. Proficiency in SQL and database query tools is required for data analysis, troubleshooting, reporting, and validation of business requirements.


• 7. Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar analytics platforms is highly preferred.


• 8. Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architectures. Basic Python scripting skills for data analysis and automation are a plus.


• 9. Fluent in English and the local market language. Chinese language skills are considered an advantage.
