BYD Europe BV is seeking a Pricing Analyst to drive data-driven decision making across finance and business operations. This role blends financial expertise with advanced analytics to deliver strategic insights and recommendations.

You will conduct market and competitor analyses, build predictive models for forecasting, and develop automated reporting dashboards for executive leadership. Prior automotive analytics experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in analytics, finance, statistics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in an analytics role within automotive finance/business.
• Experience with OEM-related positions is a plus.
• Strong programming in Python or R and proficiency in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market and competitor analysis for responsible vehicle models.
• Perform web scraping to gather data from multiple sources.
• Do complex data analyses to identify opportunities and efficiencies.
• Develop predictive models for financial forecasting and planning.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Pricing Analyst to drive data-driven decision making across finance and business operations. This role combines financial expertise with advanced analytics to provide strategic insights and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis on the responsible vehicle models.
• Perform web scraping to gather relevant data from various online sources
• Conduct complex data analysis to identify business opportunities and operational efficiencies
• Develop predictive models for financial forecasting and business planning
• Create automated reporting solutions for key business and financial metrics
• Partner with business units to translate analytical insights into actionable recommendations
• Lead special projects requiring advanced analytics and financial modelling
• Build and maintain dashboards for executive reporting

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in analytics role within Automotive industry with focus on finance/business
• OEM companies related position experience
• Familiarity with web scraping techniques and tools is a plus
• Strong programming skills (Python/R) and SQL expertise
• Advanced spoken and written English. Chinese language is an advantage.
• Advanced knowledge of statistical analysis and modelling techniques
• Proficiency in data visualization tools and BI platforms
• Experience with large dataset analysis and data mining
• Strong financial acumen and business understanding
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
