Job summary

Insyght IoT in Delft designs and builds IoT products from idea to production, combining hardware, firmware, apps and cloud in a compact team. As an Embedded Software Engineer you develop firmware for new and existing devices, collaborating with hardware and software colleagues across the full development cycle.

You will work with C or C++, sometimes Python, on microcontrollers such as Nordic nRF and STM32, implement drivers and stacks, test on real hardware, and contribute to architecture,

Qualifications

• 0–3 years of embedded software experience
• Proficient in C or C++ and Python
• Experience with microcontrollers and debugging
• Willing to work in Dutch and English
• Based in or near Delft

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software in C or C++
• Work with Nordic nRF, STM32 microcontrollers
• Implement and debug drivers, stacks and application logic
• Collaborate with hardware engineers during board bring-up
• Consider architecture, performance and power consumption
• Test firmware on real hardware
• Document code and technical choices
