Job summary

Sioux in Apeldoorn (Netherlands) is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to develop and test software for high-tech products. From our office in Apeldoorn and at customer locations, you work on challenging projects that take technology to the next level.

You will design, implement and optimize embedded software in C, C++, and Rust for real-time systems, collaborate with electronics and mechatronics engineers, and contribute to modular architectures with a strong emphasis on quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in technical software development.
• Experience with C, C++, Rust, Linux, and embedded environments.
• Knowledge of Design Patterns and Software Architecture.
• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.
• Valid European driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software in C, C++, and Rust for high-tech systems.
• Build and optimize applications on real-time platforms.
• Contribute to the design of modular software architectures with a focus on quality and maintainability.
• Debug and analyze complex embedded systems.
• Collaborate with electronics and mechatronics engineers within multidisciplinary teams.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and system architecture discussions.
