We are working with a leading European investment platform that is building out its next-generation investment strategy.
This is a high-impact, hybrid role sitting at the intersection of legal, investment processes and risk, supporting both ongoing investments and the development of new products and ways of working within the platform.
The Opportunity
This role goes beyond traditional legal support. You will work closely with investment teams and senior stakeholders to help shape how investments are executed, managed and governed.
Alongside transactional exposure, a key part of the role is strengthening the risk and control environment around the investment process, including how new technologies such as AI are used responsibly.
You will be involved in:
- Supporting venture and growth-stage investments (equity and structured investments)
- Advising on investment and portfolio management processes
- Developing and improving risk frameworks within the investment lifecycle
- Working on confidentiality, MNPI and information governance topics
- Contributing to AI policy and governance in an investment context
- Supporting broader business-building initiatives, including partnerships and commercial frameworks
What Makes This Role Different
- Exposure to both transactions and investment process design
- A role that combines legal, risk and operational thinking
- Opportunity to work on emerging topics such as AI in investment management
- A platform that is still evolving, with scope to shape how things are done

- Lawyers with exposure to investment management processes, governance or risk
- Candidates from private practice with relevant fund / regulatory / capital markets exposure looking to move in-house
Key experience includes:
- Background in corporate, funds, regulatory or capital markets law
- Exposure to investment structures, transactions or portfolio management
- Familiarity with risk, governance or control frameworks within an investment context
- Interest in or exposure to AI, data governance or regulatory developments
Personal Profile
- Commercial and pragmatic in approach
- Comfortable working across legal and non-legal topics
- Interested in how investment decisions are made and implemented
- Able to operate in an environment that is evolving rather than fully defined
Why Apply
This is an opportunity to step into a role that offers:
- Broader exposure than a traditional legal position
- A combination of investment, risk and strategic work
- The chance to be part of a platform shaping its future operating model
