Job summary

The Social Hub in Amsterdam is seeking an Investment Analyst to drive financial analysis and market insights for Europe expansion. You will sit in the Investment team, build detailed models, and guide deals from pitch to close with senior leadership.

With a background in real estate investment and strong Excel skills, you’ll track market trends, support due diligence, and prepare investment memos for cross‑border opportunities across Europe.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in real estate investment, PE, investment banking, or advisory.
• Bachelor's degree from a top-tier business school in finance/real estate/economics/business.
• Master's degree or CFA/RICS progress is a strong plus.
• Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel and solid real estate metrics.
• Strong commercial instincts; extract insights from market data.
• Clear communication to senior management.
• Experience in real estate acquisition/development; hotel asset-light is a plus.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines in an international setting.

Responsibilities

• Build and update financial models (acq, development, ops) to evaluate cash flow, IRR, and returns.
• Track real estate and hospitality market trends for supply, pricing, and yield insights.
• Coordinate due diligence with legal, tax, commercial, and technical teams.
• Draft investment memos and decks for investment committee and senior leadership.
• Support deal execution from screening through structuring, negotiations and closing.

As an Investment Analyst in Amsterdam, you will provide the financial analysis and market insights that shape where The Social Hub expands next across Europe. Sitting at the center of the Investment team and reporting directly to senior leadership, you will evaluate potential opportunities, build detailed financial models, and help guide deals from first pitch to final close. The role offers an ambitious, entrepreneurial environment with the backing of top institutional investors, giving you a direct seat at the table on high-impact real estate projects. The Social Hub is an international real estate owner-operator with an entrepreneurial and inspiring mindset. What You’ll Do

• Build and update financial models (acquisition, development and operations) to evaluate cash flow, IRR, and return risks for real estate opportunities across Europe to support underwriting and investment committee decisions.
• Track real estate and hospitality market trends to uncover key supply, pricing, and yield insights.
• Coordinate due diligence on active transactions by aligning input from legal, tax, commercial, and technical teams.
• Draft clear investment memos and presentation decks for the investment committee and senior leadership.
• Support deal execution from initial screening through structuring, negotiations, and closing.
• Assist with asset management, property valuations, and investor material preparation for equity syndication.
• Collaborate across development, finance, and operations teams, and manage external stakeholders (brokers, consultants and capital partners).

What You’ll Have

• 2 to 3 years of experience in real estate investment, private equity, investment banking, or transaction advisory.
• A bachelor's degree from a top tier business school in finance, engineering, real estate, economics, or business, with outstanding academic qualifications.
• Master's degree or CFA/RICS progress is considered a strong plus.
• Advanced financial modelling skills in Excel alongside a firm grip on real estate metrics and deal structures.
• Strong commercial instincts and the ability to extract core insights from complex market data.
• Clear, confident communication skills and the ability to explain complex financial analysis to senior management.
• Experience in real estate acquisition and development projects and/or experience with hotel asset-light models is a strong plus.
• The ability to work under tight deadlines and changing situations.
• The ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and interact directly with senior management.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple deal deadlines across different projects in an international setting.
• Fluency in English, with knowledge of additional European languages being a welcome bonus.
• Willingness to be based in Amsterdam, ability to travel, and eligibility to work in the EU.
