Job summary

International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. is seeking an Inventory Manager for its Leiden, Netherlands location.

This hybrid role focuses on owning and advancing the H&B inventory optimization roadmap across business units, regions, and sites, balancing capital efficiency with service levels. You will lead governance for SLOB, drive segmentation and stocking policies, and partner with Finance on working-capital improvements while partnering with AI and analytics teams to translate model outputs

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Proven experience in inventory management and optimization.
Experience with IBP, S&OP, or similar planning processes.
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Own and execute the H&B inventory optimization roadmap across units, regions, sites and categories.
Translate inventory objectives into prioritized actions with owners, due dates and expected benefits.
Lead governance for slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory (SLOB).
Improve inventory segmentation, safety stocks and planning parameters.
Collaborate with Finance to validate working-capital improvements and other financial outcomes.
