Our client is an international leader within the food production industry, known for its innovative and sustainable approach to global food supply, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and responsible sourcing. Within their Cocoa division, they supply some of the world’s largest and most respected chocolate manufacturers.
As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for analyzing and managing stock levels across the distribution network, ensuring product availability while maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will play a key role in monitoring, planning, and improving inventory processes, and act as the link between production, supply planning, and logistics.
This role involves working with a variety of stakeholders and using data-driven insights to make recommendations and improvements that directly impact the efficiency of the supply chain.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, identify, and evaluate distribution network inventories through detailed analysis.
- Maintain data relevant to network distribution planning, including capacity, logistics, and supplier data.
- Develop and execute cycle and safety stock plans for assigned products or locations.
- Participate in the inventory planning process and ensure compliance with planning metrics.
- Indipendently handle moderately complex issues and elevate when needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply or inventory planning.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
- Experience with Phython en power BI.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written).
- Proactive, structured, and able to work independently within a dynamic environment.
Offer:
- 6 months contract with possibility to extend and/or turn into perm.
- Salary indication: €3.800 - €4.500, depending on experience.
- Travel allowance.
- 13th month.
