Job summary

Amsterdam Warehouse Company seeks an Inventory Controller to ensure inventory accuracy and optimize warehouse layout while collaborating with Operations, Customer Service, IT and Account Management.

You will combine stock management with data analysis, drive continuous improvements, and prepare inventory and capacity reports to support data-driven decisions. This is a hands-on role with growth opportunities in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• MBO+ or HBO level in Logistics or Supply Chain.
• Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment.
• Strong analytical abilities.
• Accurate and structured working method.
• Experience with WMS and ERP systems.
• Good Excel and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: monitor accuracy and reliability; coordinate counts; analyze discrepancies; manage batch, serial, and expiry inventories; identify deviations and improvements.
• Warehouse & Location Management: optimize layout; assign SKUs by turnover, dimensions and customer profile; improve picking locations and capacity.
• Data & Master Data: maintain item and location data; ensure dimensions/weights; maintain WMS data.
• Analysis & Reporting: prepare inventory and capacity reports; analyze turnover and performance; report on KPIs.
• Continuous Improvement: initiate projects; apply Lean and 5S; support WMS optimizations and implementations.
