Job summary

Bayer Maastricht is offering an internship in Service Planning for students eager to bring structure to complex planning processes. You will work with experienced planners, gain insight into supply chain and service processes, and own a project with real impact.

This is a hybrid role based at our Maastricht site, with mentorship and daily responsibilities from day one. Applicants should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in SCM, Logistics, or related fields, with fluent English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's student in SCM, Logistics, Business Admin, or related field.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
• German, French, or Dutch language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn.
• Comfortable with data and Excel.
• Available full-time for min. 5-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Support the Service Planning team in coordinating and optimizing planning processes.
• Analyze planning data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
• Own an improvement project within service planning.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service.
• Present findings and recommendations to the wider team.

You'll work closely with experienced planners, gain insight into supply chain and service processes, and take ownership of your own project — with real impact on the team.

What you'll do:

• Support the Service Planning team in coordinating and optimizing planning processes
• Help analyze planning data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Assist in preparing reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
• Take ownership of your own improvement project within service planning
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from Operations, Supply Chain, and Customer Service
• Present your findings and recommendations to the wider team

What you bring:

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
• German, French, or Dutch language skills are a plus
• Strong analytical mindset with an eye for detail
• Proactive, curious, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working with data and tools such as Excel (SAP/ERP experience is a plus)
• Available full-time for the duration of the internship (min. 5-6 months)
