Job summary

Bayer AG in the Netherlands is seeking a Customer Interface Account Specialist for the German market. You will own the relationship end-to-end, serve as the primary liaison for orders, service and operations, and collaborate across Credit, Logistics and Marketing to deliver solutions.

Fluency in German and English is required, with 2–5 years in Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, or Customer Service. Hybrid work from Hoofddorp, Bergschenhoek, or Enkhuizen is offered.

Qualifications

• Fluent German and English, spoken and written.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations.
• Customer-first mindset: patient, empathetic, and a natural communicator.
• Ability to troubleshoot and investigate to resolve customer complaints.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment.

Responsibilities

• Own the service relationship with German-market customers; primary contact for orders and operations.
• Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries on orders, supply, and product information within lead times.
• Proactively update accounts on orders and supply availability; spot loyalty opportunities.
• Receive and process customer sales orders; manage delivery prioritization and invoicing.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit, Market Specialists, Portfolio Marketing, Pricing, Logistics, and Customer Operations to resolve issues.
• Explain marketing and operational programs to your customer base.
• Track KPIs and work with Business Partner & Team Lead to close gaps.

What you'll do

• Own the service relationship with your assigned German-market customer base, acting as the primary contact for both customers and Sales colleagues on all order, service, and operational matters
• Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries on orders, supply availability, and product information within agreed lead times
• Proactively update accounts on orders and supply availability, spotting opportunities to strengthen customer loyalty
• Receive and process customer sales orders, manage delivery prioritization, invoicing, and other fiscal documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit, Market Specialists, Portfolio Marketing, Pricing, Logistics, and Customer Operations to resolve issues and deliver solutions
• Explain marketing and operational programs, including eligibility and program details, to your customer base
• Track relevant KPIs, monitor your own performance, and work with your Business Partner & Team Lead to close any gaps

What you bring

• Fluent German and English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations
• A customer-first mindset: patient, empathetic, and a natural communicator
• Confidence in troubleshooting and investigating to resolve customer complaints
