Job summary

Bayer AG in the Netherlands is hiring a Customer Interface Account Specialist for the German Market. Based in Hoofddorp, Bergschenhoek, or Enkhuizen (Hybrid), you will own the end-to-end relationship with German customers, handling orders, inquiries, and service issues, and working closely with Sales and cross-functional teams.

Your fluency in German and English, a related Bachelor's degree, and 2–5 years in Supply Chain or Customer Service will help you excel.

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations.

Responsibilities

• Own the service relationship with German-market customers and act as the primary contact for orders, service, and operational matters.
• Respond quickly to inquiries on orders, supply availability, and product information within agreed lead times.
• Proactively update accounts on orders and supply availability, spotting opportunities to strengthen customer loyalty.
• Receive and process customer sales orders, manage delivery prioritization, invoicing, and other fiscal documentation.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit, Market Specialists, Portfolio Marketing, Pricing, Logistics, and Customer Operations to resolve issues.
• Explain marketing and operational programs, including eligibility and program details, to your customer base.

What you'll do

• Own the service relationship with your assigned German-market customer base, acting as the primary contact for both customers and Sales colleagues on all order, service, and operational matters
• Respond quickly and accurately to inquiries on orders, supply availability, and product information within agreed lead times
• Proactively update accounts on orders and supply availability, spotting opportunities to strengthen customer loyalty
• Receive and process customer sales orders, manage delivery prioritization, invoicing, and other fiscal documentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Credit, Market Specialists, Portfolio Marketing, Pricing, Logistics, and Customer Operations to resolve issues and deliver solutions
• Explain marketing and operational programs, including eligibility and program details, to your customer base
• Track relevant KPIs, monitor your own performance, and work with your Business Partner & Team Lead to close any gaps

What you bring

• Fluent German and English, spoken and written; additional languages are a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Commercial, Administration, Logistics, Customer Service, or Operations
• A customer-first mindset: patient, empathetic, and a natural communicator
• Confidence in troubleshooting and investigating to resolve customer complaints
• Comfortable working cross-functionally in an international environment
