Internship Overview

We are looking for a motivated third year hbo student in Engineering (e.g. Chemical, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial)! Do you want to know what it’s like to be part of one of the largest multinational companies in the pharmaceutical industry? We offer an internship opportunity within our Global Engineering Solutions department where you will have the freedom and space for your own initiative. Apply your technical knowledge, data analysis and troubleshooting skills in the support of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and facilities, in a team‑based environment. Interning at our company means working together with your team towards health in an international work environment. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with experts and learn from them.

Responsibilities

• Develop leadership skills in diverse team building, vendor management, and process equipment development/design.
• Co‑chair weekly meetings, cross‑collaborate and seek alignment between stakeholders.
• Track and follow up on action items, re‑prioritize tasks and plan strategically.
• Provide a fresh perspective to the department by sharing your opinion.
• Perform the described tasks independently after training and learning period; supplement with projects at your initiative or at the request of the organization.

Qualifications

• Third year hbo student in Engineering (Chemical, Biomedical, Mechanical, Industrial).
• Outstanding academic records and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Analytical and inquisitive about interrelationships of components, perceptive and quick learner.
• Committed to making a difference in manufacturing high‑quality market‑leading pharmaceutical and vaccine products.
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills; team player with ability to work independently.
• Motivation, dependability, systems thinking and active listening.
• Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Available for a period of 6 months, 5 days per week.
