Job summary

Viking, a leading European workplace-solutions company headquartered in Venlo, invites an internship opportunity in Project Management within Purchasing & Assortment. You will map and optimize operational processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and gain hands-on experience shaping pricing strategies across markets.

Ideal candidates are 3rd year Bachelors students in related fields, with English proficiency and a keen interest in process improvement.

Qualifications

• 3rd year Bachelor student in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• Strong interest in operations, project management, and process improvement.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proactive with willingness to learn and take initiative.
• Good communication and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Experience with process mapping tools or Lean/Six Sigma concepts is a plus.
• Available full-time from February 2027 for a 5–6 month duration.

Responsibilities

• Map and document existing operational processes across departments.
• Analyse process performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather input, align priorities, and validate proposed changes.
• Support the implementation of process optimisation initiatives.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and presentations.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
